It was a pleasure to finally pop into this pub after a few recommendations. Here is my review of @thefoxatsouldern
? Atmosphere/enjoyment – A traditional village pub/coach inn. A snug and warm atmosphere with a real homely feel. What you expect from a village local! I love this.
? Beer quality – Beer is good and clearly well maintained. I had the @sanmiguel_uk and it was close to perfect. There are ales available and they looked popular. @st_austell_brewery and @hook_norton_brewery are known regular ales.
?Spirits variety – Standard ones you expect.
? Children welcome – Yes
? Food available – Yes and looks good, Christmas menu also available!
? Pet friendly – Yes, lots of good walks around.
? Pub Garden – A little courtyard at the entrance and another spot at the end of the car park. Plenty of space.
I really enjoyed the visit and it was nice to meet the landlord Les. He is moving on at the end of the month and I look forward to popping in and seeing how it is all going. All in all a very good pub and definite ?? from me!
